Christmas Candle Gifts from India for the US, UK & Canada: An Order-Early Guide
Share
Most Christmas gifts are bought in a rush in December. If you would rather give something handcrafted and unusual, and you are happy to plan ahead, a candle made by hand in India is a lovely option for friends, hosts, clients and family in the US, UK and Canada.
This guide explains what to look for, which Pink Blossom designs suit which people, and when to order so your gift arrives in time.
When to order for Christmas
Every candle is hand-poured and hand-finished at our studio in Bengaluru, then shipped worldwide. International delivery takes about 30 days, and the festive season can add courier delays. To have your gift in hand well before Christmas, order by early November. Orders placed later still make wonderful New Year, Valentine’s Day or ‘just because’ gifts.
Import duties or taxes may apply depending on where you live. The shipping charge is a flat rate shown at checkout, so you can see the full cost before you pay.
What makes a handcrafted candle a good Christmas gift
A candle is decor before it is lit and an experience once it is burning. A hand-finished design, such as a sculpted figure, a wax bouquet or a ceramic set, also gives the recipient something they will want to keep on display through the whole season. That is the difference between a gift people remember and one that disappears into a drawer.
Four Christmas designs to start with
- Luxury Christmas Ceramic Reindeer Candle Set – a statement piece for a mantel or dining table, and a good gift for a couple or a host who loves styling their home.
- Luxury Merry Christmas Candle – handcrafted winter-forest wax art, ideal for someone who appreciates craftsmanship.
- Luxury Christmas Theme Candle Bouquet – a floral bouquet made of wax, so it never wilts. A thoughtful alternative to flowers.
- Handmade Christmas Bubble Candle Set – a scented cube candle with berries and pine leaves, festive and easy to gift.
